College of Special Education

The College of Special Education is working under the aegis of Shri Rameshwar Sewa Sansthan (Regd.) and is a part of Renu Vidya Mandir (An Institute of Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Training and Research). It was started in 2016 with the commencement of one course, D.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability). In 2017, the department started another course, D.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impairment). In 2018, the department introduced the bachelor's course B.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability). In 2021, the department started a B.Ed. in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) and a D.Ed. in Visual Impairment. In 2022, the department introduced the M.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability). In 2023, the department started the M.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impairment). At present, the department is building manpower (190 special educators/rehabilitation professionals) in the field of special education and disability rehabilitation.
